TB causes, symptoms and treatment


            TB is the most common disease. It is an infectious disease that spreads easily from one person to another. When most people hear the name TB, they think it's pulmonary TB, because pulmonary TB is the most common type of TB, and it spreads from person to person through the air. But without lungs brain, uterus, mouth, kidney. Throat and liver can also get TB which is very fatal.




What is TB?

TB is an infectious disease called tuberculosis, caused by organisms called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. According to a research, TB is more common in men and can kill the victim.

Did you know that on March 24, 1882, German physician and microbiologist Robert Koch discovered tuberculosis or Mycobacterium tuberculosis.





Causes of TB

As we mentioned above, Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that spreads from one person to another and it has many causes like –

1) Diabetes

If a person is suffering from diabetes, he can get TB very easily, so diabetic patients should take special care of their health and always keep diabetes under control.

2) Weak immunity

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that spreads from person to person and quickly infects a person whose immunity is weak.

3) Kidney diseases

A research has found that people with kidney disease or any kidney-related disease are more likely to develop TB disease.

4) Infection

Tuberculosis is also spread by infections like HIV AIDS.

5) Malnutrition

Malnutrition is a major cause of TB disease. The disease is more common in people suffering from malnutrition.


TB symptoms

Every disease has some symptoms, similarly TB also gives some symptoms initially as you can easily recognize its symptoms like –

1) Coughing

Occasional coughing may be normal, but tuberculosis patients may also cough up blood from the mouth. If you experience these symptoms, consult a doctor as soon as possible. Also, if a person has a cough for more than 3 weeks, it should not be ignored.

2) Chest pain

Chest pain is also a common symptom of TB. Most people do not take the problem of chest pain seriously which can later lead to TB as well as many other serious diseases.

3) Fever

You might be surprised to know, but fever has been observed in TB patients. If the fever persists for a long time, TB should be tested. Apart from this, fatigue is also a symptom of TB.


TB treatment

1) Medicines

In the early days, doctors prescribe some drugs to cure TB, these drugs go into the victim's body and destroy the TB tissue so that it does not spread to other parts of the body.

2) X Ray

If the TB disease is not cured by medicines, doctors take X-rays to find out the extent of the TB disease and treat it accordingly.
